Accessibility
Everyone should be able to learn about my practice and reach out for help, including people who use assistive technology.
Our standard
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites.
What we’ve done
- Text and background colors meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast on every page.
- The site can be used entirely with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use clear headings and landmarks so screen readers can move through them easily.
- Photos have text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages adapt to small screens and zoom up to 400% without sideways scrolling.
- Animation is minimal and turns off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap easily.
Known limitations
- Secure messages and appointment requests are handled by SimplePractice, a separate HIPAA-compliant service. Its pages are outside this website, and their accessibility is managed by SimplePractice. If you have any trouble using them, please call instead.
- Directions open in Google Maps, a third-party site.
Need help, or a different format?
If any part of this site is hard to use, or you’d like information such as the Notice of Privacy Practices or intake forms in another format (large print, read aloud by phone, or a different file type), please call 646-775-8276. Tell me the page and the problem, and I’ll respond within one to two business days and make sure you get what you need.
How this was checked
The site was reviewed by the developer using automated contrast and structure checks on every page, plus keyboard and small-screen testing. It has not yet had an independent audit. We review accessibility whenever the site changes.
