For the ones who carry everything.

Therapy for executives, founders, and leaders who are used to solving every problem themselves, with the flexibility and discretion a demanding life requires.

On paper, everything is working. Privately, something isn’t.

The people I see run companies, lead teams, and make decisions that affect many lives. It might be the sense that the drive that got them here is starting to cost too much, or the gap between who they are at work and who they want to be at home. It might be a transition, a marriage under strain, or the weight of always being the capable one.

Often, they haven’t really talked about it with anyone. Therapy is where they finally do.

What brings people here

Burnout

Running on empty while keeping up the appearance of control.

The isolation of leading

Decisions no one else can make, and few people you can be honest with.

High-functioning anxiety

Anxiety that looks like drive from the outside and never lets up inside.

Decision fatigue

When a constant stream of high-stakes choices starts to wear down judgment and patience.

Transitions

A new role, an exit, a sale, retirement, and who you are without the title.

Grief and loss

Loss that doesn’t fit neatly into a full calendar or a public role.

Work and home

Much of this work is about balance: not an abstract ideal, but the daily reality of leaving one role and walking into another. We look at what the job is costing at home, how you show up for a partner and children after a long day, and how to protect time and attention for the people who matter most.

The goal is to keep doing work you care about without it consuming everything else.

When your child is struggling too

Many of the leaders I work with are also parents. My primary specialty is children and adolescents, so if a son or daughter is dealing with anxiety, school pressure, or a hard stretch, I can help you understand what’s happening and what to do, or support your child directly.

How it works for busy schedules

Therapy only helps if it fits into your life. These arrangements are built for people with little control over their calendars.

Flexible hours

Appointment times beyond the usual office day, arranged around your commitments.

Flexible scheduling

Sessions can move when travel or work demands shift, without losing momentum.

Telehealth

Secure video from your office, your home, or the road, in New York, Connecticut, and other PsyPACT states.

Discretion

A private, low-profile experience from the first call on. Confidentiality is protected within the limits of the law, which I explain at the start.

Self-pay

I’m out-of-network, so nothing is billed to your employer’s insurance plan. You can still submit monthly statements for reimbursement if you choose.

A focused approach

Active, practical work using evidence-based methods, including CBT and DBT-informed skills, adapted to how busy people think.

For organizations

I’m open to working with companies, family offices, and schools on consultation and workshops about stress, burnout, and supporting people who are struggling. If that’s of interest, get in touch to talk about what would be useful.

Couples

When the strain shows up in a marriage or partnership, working together can help. Learn about couples therapy.
